Some kids know this term from memes and joke about it without actually measuring their eyes. 'Check my canthal tilt' with a selfie can just be a looksmaxxing meme, like how 'mewing' became a pose. But the line between joking about it and genuinely obsessing over it is thinner than with most terms. If your kid mentions it once as a joke, they probably just absorbed it from TikTok. If they're genuinely analyzing their facial geometry and expressing distress about it, that's body image content doing real damage and worth a conversation.
